Introducing The New & Exclusive Burntwood 1180

The Marygreen Manor has always been known for its fantastic ambience and exquisite fine dining but one thing that our guests really do enjoy is the exclusivity of the Marygreen Manor experience. More recently we’ve noticed that one particular area that our guests enjoy is the uniqueness of our celebration tea. The allure of something exclusive, of something that can only be enjoyed here is an idea we’re always on board with which is why we were extremely excited when our super talented bar manager announced that he’d created a new and exclusive cocktail. Now not only could our guests enjoy a fine dining experience like no other and a wholly unique afternoon tea experience but they could now enjoy a one of a kind cocktail too. What could be better?

The new Marygreen Manor cocktail is called The Burntwood 1180. The story behind its name? Well, it’s always been rumoured that the first houses to ever be built in Brentwood were built in 1180 after a huge fire cleared the local wooded area. What’s more, the first houses and subsequently the first town to be created wasn’t actually called Brentwood, but Burntwood. The layers of the drink are therefore meant to represent the great history of Brentwood. The cocktail itself contains Crème De Menthe, Kahlua, Pineapple Juice, Vanilla Ice Cream and Strawberry Fraise making it the perfect tipple as our wonderful British weather begins to warm up. What sets this cocktail apart however, is the fact that it’s served with a delicious selection of petit fours. All of these are all hand made by our very talented pastry chef.

The stunning Burntwood 1180, available right now, will give all guests here at the Marygreen Manor a truly unique cocktail experience in the luxury surroundings of the Oak Lounge. It’s available to absolutely anyone that crosses the threshold of our manor house, residents and non-residents alike, Sunday through to Thursday from 10:30am to 10:30pm and Friday and Saturday from 10:30am to 11:30pm. We can’t wait to see you all enjoy this exclusive new addition to the Marygreen Manor.
