If you’re bored of the same old nights out in Brentwood, maybe it’s becoming monotonous starting out at Chutney Joes, filling up on curry followed by your usual walk to The Sugarhut for drinks and dancing, then why not check out a night of comedy and unstoppable laughter at the Marygreen Manor Hotel and Restaurant.

Shake things up and try something new with a slice of… Fawlty Towers. On Friday the 9th May, Marygreen Manor will be playing host to an evening of professional comedy theatre, created especially for you by the cast of The Cut Productions. For just £49.50 per person you could enjoy a sumptuous three course meal served by your favourite Fawlty Towers characters. Revel in the comedic lines we all know and love from Basil Fawlty, his wife Sybil and who can forget the very best of them all, Manuel, but whatever you do, “don’t mention the war!”

Taking a step toward the luxury side of things, you’ll find yourself amongst the magnificent interiors and comforts that Marygreen Manor is famous for, with beautiful detailing and authentic features. Surround yourself with all this while preparing for entertainment and beautifully prepared food from their exquisite menu.

A Slice of Fawlty Towers at Marygreen Manor Hotel

Beginning the evening in the bar for pre-dinner drinks, you’ll be introduced to famous Basil, the ever polite Sybil and the, as always, less than helpful Manuel. Relax, unwind and let the fun night begin. With the show continuing into the evening after Basil has invited you into the restaurant, you can enjoy your starters and all the way through to dessert with the raucous laughter coming from every direction. Being half scripted and half improvised means not only guaranteed laughs but a few surprise possibilities too. Get yourself involved and see just how quick thinking you are against the notorious Basil Fawlty.

Make sure you don’t miss out by securing your places with a small deposit of £25, then pull up a pew and self-indulge in some old Fawlty Towers reruns, and remind yourself of the laughs you’ll be having at Marygreen Manor Hotel.
