Fine Dining, Marygreen Hotel style

One man’s fine dining is another man’s slab of meat with a random piece of green herb draped over the top.

But for genuine fine dining in Essex, look no further than our carefully thought out Marygreen Manor Hotel menus. What you see on the menu is what you get, and although we describe our dishes in sufficient detail, we’re not the sort to blind you with (written) science at the expense of the quality of our cooking.

Various Essex restaurants and other establishments mention ‘fine dining’ as part of their offer, but we’re the real deal. As an established Brentwood hotel, which prides itself on its comfortable, historic accommodation, we can offer something extra in terms of fine dining by focusing on creating menus that are as special as the environment in which you’ll be eating it.

Head chef Majid Bourote and restaurant manager Michael Hughes have made the most of their their combined expertise and experience to make fine dining at Tudors Restaurant an experience to remember. And there’s no ‘resting on our laurels (or should we say ‘rosettes’? We hold two AA Rosettes and we won the Best Hotel Restaurant in Essex Award in 2009) – there’s always something new on offer.

A-la-Carte

Affordably priced at only £14.00 for a two course lunch, our Menu Du Jour now changes every month, so there’s time for you to enjoy more than one visit per month – and sample something different every time – before starting to salivate over what’s coming next.

To tempt your taste-buds in April, there’s everything from a starter of Duck Liver Paté with Apricot Chutney to mains of Baked Codling Fillet or Rump of Lamb, all with delicious accompaniments. And although it’s sometimes seen as a woman’s weakness to love anything sweet (!) our range of fine dining desserts for April also include a robust Chocolate Brownie with Chocolate Sauce.
